Outreach Communities

Where, in the every day world, do we make a space for God to talk to people about their lives and concerns?

Our world is badly in need of places to encounter love and unconditional acceptance.

Community Outreach Cafes:

Taking prophetic gifts into coffee shops so people can encounter unconditional love.

"I feel so different, a weight has lifted off me since we talked about what people had said about me, my whole life is different". - Katie

'The team themselves spoke volumes and the fact that they were speaking into the heart of people's situations and lives is a winner.' - Emma

Community Events:

Our value is community and friendship, where people find a genuine sense of belonging; a place to heal and find life, to discover what it means to be loved.

"Before I came to community, I used to always ask a question: What do people think of me? But now I come to community and I know that I am loved and now I ask a different question: Why should I care what people think?"
- Raghav

"They talk compassion, they talk love and they talk about spiritual connection; they show all those attributes in the way they encounter people and by actually living that way". - Marc

‘I don’t feel so lost. I feel more hope.” - Freya

Listening therapy: a safe place for you to tell your story: Listening to people brings comfort and care in the place of their difficulty and pain.

'If this is not a place where tears are understood then where can I go to cry?' Ken Medema

"He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and release from darkness to the prisoners" Isaiah 61:1

Seeing people free to live their lives healed.

'So much was different for me after the session. Much of the peace has stayed with me and I was tearful just remembering it. It made Christmas more meaningful, I felt more love... And I was able to let go but treasure what was positive.'

Hub groups:

Sharing life and journeying together.

"I'm growing and changing. I love being in a group."

Art and music sessions

One of our musicians played, and worshipped over a community member and saw the power of radical change.

In intensive care we watched as twenty minutes of singing and playing music radically changed the medical condition of an outreach attendee who had had three successive heart attacks. Despite repeated attempts, he couldn’t breath on his own.

“It was the music” repeated the nurses, as they instantly removed the tube and he breathed on his own and came round from his coma.

We use quick fire art sketches in the outreach to give people a visual expression with key prophetic words, of who they are and who God called them to be.

“In order to help the people no one is helping, you have to do the things no one is doing.” - Craig Rochelle
